MISSION STATEMENT:

Our mission is to empower our goaltenders by providing foundational skating tools. By reinforcing the importance of edge control, balance and proper save execution, we strive to avoid coping mechanisms.

TEACHING APPROACH:

Stage One operates under the belief that a slow, technical, and theory based approach to goaltending provides a more comprehensive understanding of the position. Rather than aimlessly shooting pucks, our sessions give students the detail and correction that is necessary to further their development. Our goaltenders are taught the value of foundational skating and as such, many of our sessions are oriented towards edge mechanics and balance control.
